A tourist bus transport company, it has been operating in Bologna since 2009, where it is currently based at Via Saliceto 3 (c/o T-PER SpA), taking over the business previously carried out by TP Net SpA, and then by Trambus Open SpA, which has been operating in the area since 2005.

City Red Bus is now an important point of reference in Bologna for those seeking a modern, high-quality sightseeing tour service, along with modern, comfortable, and eco-friendly coaches. The vehicles available range from open-top buses (47 to 70 seats) to Euro 6 (or electric) tourist trains with 56 seats. Also available are coaches of various sizes (22 to 52 seats), and electric or combustion-engined minibuses with 17, 19, or 28 seats. Furthermore, all vehicles with more than 40 seats are equipped with a ramp and a space for disabled passengers. A similar solution for smaller vehicles is also being studied.

In addition to the Bologna CITY RED BUS , SAN LUCA EXPRESS , and CITY BO EXPRESS lines , IL TRENINO DELLE DOLOMITI has also been operating seasonally since February 2012 , offering highly scenic itineraries in the charming Cortina D'Ampezzo . In the past, lines have also been operated to RAVENNA and LAKE MAGGIORE with open-top buses. In summer 2019, the SAN VITO EXPRESS lines for the municipality of San Vito di Cadore and the SPOLETO CITY TOUR lines for the splendid Umbrian town arrived. Finally, in November, the FERRARA CITY TOUR and PARMA CITY TOUR were also launched.
